April 8th-14th: Everything I wore last week for some Spring fashion inspo.
Monday
A good spring outfit is all about layering and playing with color. I love a collared shirt under a sweater, and the preppy vibe of the top paired nicely with the edgier cargo pant. *Pro tip: Juxtaposing different vibes when styling adds some personality (preppy with edgy, feminine with sporty). I accessorized the look with my Khaite belt and my Row loafers that I cannot take off. This Toteme trench was the perfect solution to my hunt for a transitional versatile jacket. In my opinion, super cropped trenches are functionless and long trenches are vulnerable to look messy. This hits at the mid thigh and is ideal.

Tuesday
Everyone should own some sort of denim dress, especially for transitional dressing. This didn’t require much styling but I felt like doing a full denim look. I wore my most uncomfortable shoes in my closet, my denim ballet flats, and the look was complete.

Wednesday
I was SO excited to whip out my new Zara find (sadly now sold out). This piece reminds me of the cardigans Celine always nails. I paired this feminine cardigan with a boyfriend jean (size down) and clogs to add that cool factor. In my eyes, clogs have never been “out”, but these stunners from Hermes feel more updated than the ones I used to wear in middle school. (These were an incredible Paris purchase that are sadly not sold in the US)

Thursday
It was disgusting out but I had dinner plans at a new restaurant (shoutout Penny) and I wanted to be cute and cozy. I started with a plain white t-shirt and a wide leg comfortable pair of Khaite pants . I usually style these pants with a heel but didn’t want to go that route in the rain. I added my sister’s Zara jacket, the same pair of The Row loafers mentioned above, and a printed pouch. I also accessorized with a fun earring which makes all the difference!

Barn jackets for spring are EVERYTHING! This is a recent find from J Crew, and the attention to detail with corduroy neck makes it special. This piece really reminded me of Nili Lotan mixed with Celine and is a great alternative if you like that vibe.

Saturday
I hosted a dinner party at my apartment as an early bday celebration so naturally I wanted to dress up. (If this wasn’t the case my outfit would go in a very different direction). I never thought I would buy into the micro mini trend but when I saw these from Khaite I couldn’t resist. If you are going to do a super mini bottom, I am a firm believe that it needs to pair with something more relaxed and loose. I paired these shorts with a very oversized semi sheer button down in this stunning periwinkle color.
